FAQ: Understanding Natal Charts
What if I don’t know my exact birth time?
To get an accurate Rising sign, you need your exact birth time which changes approximately every 2 hours. Your Moon sign is a little more flexible but can still shift signs within a day. Without the time, we can estimate, but it’s less precise.
If you don’t know it, we can still generate a chart with default or estimated settings, but some information may be less precise. We recommend checking your birth certificate or asking family members if possible.
Is my Sun sign the same as my whole chart?
Nope! Your Sun sign is just one part of your natal chart. Your Moon sign, Rising sign, and other planetary placements all play important roles in your chart. A full natal chart gives a much deeper, more accurate picture of you than a single zodiac sign.
Is my Moon sign just a minor detail?
